The founder of the studio, John is an eclectic and engaging wellness professional whose goal is to help his clients achieve balance and purpose in their lives. A proud father of four and volunteer hockey coach, John is a former Ironman triathlete who competed in the elite Hawaii Ironman at Kona in 2002, was 1995 Canadian Amateur Triathlon Champion and has run the Boston Marathon four times.
Professionally, John has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 16 years, specializing in deep tissue massage for elite and recreational athletes. He is also a certified spinning and yoga instructor who has been developing his craft over the past 15 years, including 12 years teaching at the Timberlane Athletic Club. John is also an Adler trained Life Coach with a degree in psychology.
John’s passion is to help people integrate the benefits of massage, yoga and fitness with the fun and dynamic energy of their daily lives. For John, wellness is not an activity that lasts an hour at a time – it is a way of living. In everything he does, John seeks to help his clients find their personal path to wellness

I am a lifelong cyclist & a believer in keeping as fit as possible to enjoy my outdoor passions for as long as possible. I have competed in numerous racing events at a highly competitive level including motocross, mountain bike and adventure racing. Being competitive at these types of activities requires a comprehensive knowledge of nutrition which I have been passionate about for all of my professional career and is a key part to a healthy balanced life.
